Our text message option is ideal if your phone only has text messaging capabilities. Send text commands and receive responses within seconds. You may even choose to use text messaging combined with one of our apps. Message and data rates may apply.

Get Started

  • Log in to Synovus Online Banking.

  • Click on the Mobile Banking tab in Synovus Online Banking.

  • Follow the enrollment steps.

  • We’ll send you a text that includes the basic commands you’ll use to access account information.

Basic Text Commands

Text the following commands to SNVBNK (768265):


Retrieves the account balance. More than one text may be received if you have more than one account associated with online banking.
HIST + Account nickname                     
Returns 10 transactions. The account nickname is assigned by you during the enrollment process.

These are follow-up commands.
If used after HIST they will return the next 10 transactions.
If used after ATM or BRANCH they will return additional location information.
ATM Retrieves 2 closest ATM locations listed in order of proximity. Include a zip code; city & state; or street address, city & state in the text.
BRANCH Retrieves 2 closest BRANCH locations in order of proximity. Include a zip code; city & state; or street address, city and state in the text.
STOP Unenrolls your mobile device from text banking.
HELP Retrieves a list of all text banking commands, including how to cancel service and contact support.
